LULI2000

The LULI2000 facility is unique in Europe because of the target coupling of high energy ns and ps pulses and the presence of auxiliary beams. It is one of the few fundamental physics instruments allowing parametric academic studies (and thus training) on inertial fusion and high energy density matter (astrophysics and planetology) and to prepare in the best possible way (concept validation, diagnostic tests, etc.) the experimental campaigns on the very large instruments that will be, LMJ-PETAL in France and XFEL in Germany.
